John & Sandi Glenn
John Glenn is the executive director of Alpha Ministries, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado, and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, from the Independent Baptist College in Dallas, Texas.
John has been pastoring churches for over forty years, and has authored the Alpha Series, The Relational Series, Power to Love
and the Omega Series. He has been actively involved in Christian recovery since 1988 as a teacher, counselor, and consultant for a number of faith based recovery programs in Florida and around the nation.
His personal ministry goal is focused upon the training mission mandated by
Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 2:1,2; "Thou therefore my son be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things which thou has heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also."
John, his wife of fifty+ years, Sandi, live on Freedom Ranch in Okeechobee, Florida.
Our goal is to receive the love of God for ourselves so that we
may share it with others.

The Critical Event
No matter what else goes on at the "Church in the Woods' each week, we must fulfill the "critical event" of loving others the way Jesus does.
Regardless of what kind of music we may have, what sermon is preached; nothing is as important as the love we have for each other. By this Jesus said, all men will know that you are my disciples.
We here at the "Church in the Woods" are seeking a deeper understanding of what that means in our lives at home, on the job, and in the community. Our goal is to receive the love of God for ourselves so that we my share it with others.
Regardless of your spiritual background or social status all are welcome to join us in learning to live out the gospel of grace. We encourage you to come as you are and meet our Savior in the woods.
